What Are The Requirements For The Use Of Stainless Steel Mixing Tanks To Dissolve Low-viscosity Liquids?

The mixing device can mix low-viscosity materials and high-viscosity materials, and the mixing of low-viscosity materials is much simpler than the mixing of high-viscosity materials. Here, the editor analyzes the stirring and mixing of low-viscosity liquids (stirring tanks) for you. It should be emphasized that the low-viscosity liquids here refer to mutual liquids.


The mixing and stirring of mutually soluble low-viscosity liquids is a process of achieving uniformity by two or more miscible liquids under the process conditions (temperature, density, stirring, etc.), which is also the process of mixing or mixing. The low-viscosity mutual solution liquid exists in the oil phase, the water phase and the interface. In order to complete the uniform mixing of the mutual-soluble low-viscosity liquid in the stainless steel stirring tank, the following conditions must be met:

1. There should be enough circulation volume: it is mainly reflected in the control of the stirring speed. The mixing speed of the mutually soluble low-viscosity liquid is between 65 and 130 rpm. If the rotation speed is too low, there is not enough circulation volume. There is energy consumption in rotational speed.

2. The proportion of liquid: When the difference between the amount of liquid to be mixed is too large, the position of the liquid inlet of a small amount of liquid is very important. The concentration is quickly homogenized.

3. Combination of the form of stirrer: For the mutual miscible low-viscosity liquid, the stainless steel stirring tank adopts double-layer paddle stirring (the upper paddle presses the liquid down, and the lower paddle throws the liquid toward the direction) or frame-drawing stirring to increase the intensity of the stirring area.

4. Liquid filling volume: the mixing tank has a loading coefficient, which is between 0.6 and 0.7 of the nominal volume.

5. It is required to reduce the stirring dead angle: as long as it is a stirring equipment, there is a stirring dead angle more or less. The often said "no" stirring dead angle is in a relative situation. However, the mixing dead angle of the mixing tank should be reduced as much as possible, so that the liquid in the mixing tank can produce convection circulation.
